Former Congressman Bob Good

Host of the Good For America Podcast

Bob Good was elected to Congress in 2020 and served 4 years as the U.S. Representative for Virginia’s 5th District. He was rated the most conservative member of Congress, and was a member of the House Freedom Caucus for all 4 years. Bob served on the Freedom Caucus board for 3 years, including one year as the Whip and one year as the Chairman. 

Bob served 4 years on the Budget Committee, and was a member of the Republican Study Committee’s Budget Task Force. He also served 4 years on the Education & Workforce Committee, serving the last 2 years as the Chairman of the Health, Employment, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Subcommittee.

Prior to his election to Congress, Bob served one term on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2015 to 2019. He also worked as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development at Liberty University for 15 years, following a 17-year career with CitiFinancial.

Bob attended Liberty University, where he was a member of the wrestling team and earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and a Master of Business Administration.

He launched the Good For America podcast earlier this year. Bob has his own business, which is primarily comprised of business & political consulting, non-profit fundraising, lecturing & teaching, and other speaking & media engagements. 

Bob lives in Farmville, Va., with Tracey, his wife of 37 years, and they have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
